There are lots of truffles around the Montisi area and our neighbour San Giovanni d’Asso hosts a wonderful truffle festival in November each year.
Here in Montisi, you can go truffle hunting throughout the year and hunt for black truffles in the summer months and white truffles in the winter.
Truffle hunting takes place in the early morning and takes around 2 hours with a truffle breakfast to follow. Or you can go in the late afternoon and we can even make arrangements for you to have a truffle dinner afterwards.
