The festivities for the Giostra di Simone 2017 began with a tightly fought football tournament won by the Contrada of Piazza. There are regular football tournaments between the four Contrade and this one was a hard fought match with skilled and tireless players. The final score was 2-0. Congratulations to Piazza!
