We are privileged to be part of the Comune of Montalcino, home to one of Italy’s most famous wines, the Brunello. Visit one of the many Brunello wineries close to Montisi and gain an appreciation of this wonderful wine. Made wholly with Sangiovese grapes its production is strictly controlled and monitored. Wines are matured in both oak barrels and in the bottle and are only released for sale 5 years after the harvest.
Montisi is also tantalisingly close to some more of the best wines in Italy
For Vino Nobile, visit Montepulciano
For Chianti, visit Chianti
Before you visit be aware that some wineries just offer local produce for sale, some offer snacks, tours and tastings and some even have a restaurant on site. It is customary to book tours and it is usual to charge for tastings. Shipping can also be organised by the bigger producers.
Alternatively you can discuss your wine requirements with a wine agent based in Montisi who can arrange for single variety cases or mixed cases to be delivered to your villa. For further information email firstname.lastname@example.org
