While you are in or near Montisi, why not enjoy a cooking class with Alessandro?

Tuscan chef Alessandro Piccinini offers a number of options including cooking classes and dinner delivery to your Villa or apartment upon arrival. He can also prepare delicious catered lunches and dinners.

Tuscan Chef Little Kitchen

New in September 2017, Alessandro is opening Tuscan Chef Little Kitchen in the centre of the village of Montisi. It is a small cosy place where you can spend a few hours cooking and enjoying the company of other people. You will learn some of the secrets of Tuscan/Italian cuisine and can then taste the food which has been prepared together.

The lessons are open to a maximum of 8-10 students and are totally hands-on. All the students will be involved in the preparation of each course.

During the lesson, we will provide recipes to follow and drinks. There will be local wines paired with the meal. Students are welcome to bring their own wine.

Options for lessons

Alessandro offers 2 types of lessons:

Tuesday and Thursday

A cooking lesson with a market visit. This will be a fish and vegetable meal comprising 3 fixed courses. For example:

Simple appetizer

Risotto with sea food and shellfish or mushrooms or other seasonal vegetables

Fish course depending upon availability – fillet in potato crust with olives and marjoram or stuffed calamari

Everyone will meet at the market at 8,30 am, spend 1 hour shopping and then go back to Montisi to cook. The lesson will end with an enjoyable lunch around 1 pm.

All other days

Full meal class – in the afternoon (morning on request)

4 courses including home-made pasta starting at 4 pm.

For example:

Vegetable antipasto

Home-made pasta with paired sauce

Meat course

The menu will be set according to the season and will take account of clients’ requests as much as possible.
