There have been more ‘forest’ fires near Montisi and it is very worrying because everywhere is so dry. It has hardly rained here since April and we are hoping that the weather forecasting rain for this weekend is accurate.
Today there are fires close to Castelmuzio and there are helicopters overhead dropping water.
Please take great care if you are walking in the countryside.
