The Pro Loco Giostra Simone invites everyone to the Carnival of Montisi 2018.
On Sunday, February 11th, the four Contrade of Montisi will be involved in a parade through Montisi to celebrate Carnevale. It will begin at 15:00 at La Grancia. The festival will continue in the square, in Via Umberto I, in the centre of the village, with children’s shows and a snack for everyone!
In case of bad weather, the festival will be held at the cinema in Montisi.
On Tuesday 13th February in Via Umberto I, in the centre of the village, there will be the “Testamento di Gosto”, a traditional Carnival event in Montisi, where the legend of the “King of Carnival” will be told. The evening begins at 19.00 with a barbecue (everyone is welcome) and the story will then be told at 21.15.
In case of bad weather, the evening will be held at Montisi’s cinema.
